Barrel Of Nulls

There is a stickit note on the barrel. You pick it up and read it.

put the stickit note back.

I'm not sure what to do with this. Some say there is no practical use. Others say it's the most valuable thing in the world.

I invented the barrel of NULLS while working at »HM Consulting in the summer of 2002. That summer, we were copyrighting a lot of catchphrases just for fun, then extorting favors from those who used them (imagine my chagrin after saying "there you go" then finding out I owed Red a new set of desktop backgrounds). The problem with a barrel of NULLS is this: While it has Nothing in it, it's not empty. Therefore, it is useless two ways. It is full of useless(#1) things that take up the entire space of the barrel(#2).

The only authorized use for a barrel of nulls is in the following phrase:

More fun than a barrel of NULLs.
